WEBBY NOMINEES: Tribal DDB Toronto Scores Six

Tribal DDB Toronto has been nominated for six Webby Awards, the leading international award competition honoring excellence on the Internet, including websites, interactive advertising and media, online film and video, mobile and apps, and social.

A front-runner in the competition, with five Webby nominations, is McDonald’s Canada’s highly successful digital platform, “Our Food. Your Questions.”   Developed by Tribal DDB Toronto, the digital platform builds a connection with consumers by answering questions from people across Canada who are curious about food served in McDonald’s restaurants.

Also nominated is Canadian Tire and Tribal DDB Toronto’s “one yard. hundreds of possibilities.” in the Interactive Advertising & Media:  Retail Website category.

Honoree designations were also announced on behalf of Tribal DDB Toronto and DDB Canada Vancouver for the following work:

In addition to the nominations for the Webby Awards, where academy members such as Arianna Huffington and musician David Bowie will select the winner, all six of Tribal DDB Toronto’s nominees are also eligible for The Webby People’s Voice Awards decided upon by voters and supporters across the web.
