For the most recent Hot Dog Day in Toronto, DDB PR kicked-off DDB Cares, a fundraising event, with all proceeds supporting relief efforts in Japan.
DDBers were asked to pool their donations over the course of an entire week in order to meet a donation milestone. As incentive, members of senior management agreed to participate in a company-wide activity. The more money raised, the more challenging the activity. For example, if the office raised a collective donation of $500, management would be responsible for kitchen duty for a week. If we reached $1000, management would push a drink cart round the office.
